Sijusamuel

Our house is called Charuvilayil House. It is located in Kadackamon, which is under the Pathanapuram Post Office in Kollam, Kerala. Life here is quite different from the big cities. It is very green and we get a lot of rain during the monsoon season. I use a part of the house to manage all my professional work. It’s a quiet place, mostly just the sound of the birds and the occasional vehicle passing by on the road. I don’t have a big team or a corporate setup. It is just me and my family here. I handle things as they come in through the mail or over the phone. Sometimes the power goes out when the weather is bad, so I just have to wait it out. That is just how things are in this part of Kerala. I’ve lived in Pathanapuram for a long time, and everyone knows everyone else. I don't feel the need to use fancy language or try to sound like a big company. I just do my work honestly and try to be helpful when I can. The house is old but sturdy, and it serves as both my home and my office. I spend a lot of time on the porch when the weather is nice, thinking about what needs to be done next. It’s a simple, practical life where we don't rush things too much. We just keep moving forward at our own pace in Kadackamon.
