Anchal is a busy place, and being right here at Society Junction means there is always noise from the street. Our clinic is just a regular spot where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, the morning starts with unlocking the front door and getting the chairs ready. It isn't a fancy setup. The walls have been the same color for a long time, and we mostly just focus on getting things done for the people who walk in. People from around the junction know where we are because of the sign out front. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area, especially when the weather is hot outside and everyone wants to sit in the shade. We don't have a big team or anything. It is just us here, making sure the tools are clean and the records are kept in the right folders. It is honest work. You can hear the buses shifting gears outside while we work. Some days are slower than others. On those quiet afternoons, we just sit and wait for the next person to come through the door with a toothache or a question about their checkup. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while now. It feels right being at this specific corner of Anchal. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we are every single day, doing what we know how to do without much fuss.
