Kannan Dental Clinic

Our clinic is right near the bus stand in Kadakkal. It’s a very convenient spot for anyone coming in from the surrounding villages. You can just hop off the bus and walk over in a couple of minutes. Because of the location, we get a lot of people who are just passing through and need something looked at quickly. The smell of the clinic is that typical dental office smell, which some people don't like, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We have the standard dental chairs and the usual equipment tucked away in the back. The waiting area is small, so it feels full even when there are only three or four people waiting. We have a small radio that plays some local stations to drown out the sound of the drills, though it doesn't always work that well. The floors are tile, which makes them easy to sweep after a long day of foot traffic. Kadakkal is a busy place, and being so close to the bus stand means there is always noise from the engines and the street vendors outside. We keep the door closed to try and keep the dust out, but it always finds a way in. Our team is small, just a few of us making sure things run okay. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basics for taking care of teeth.
