Anns Dental Clinic

Anns Dental Clinic sits over on Thatta Road in the Central Adoor area. It is a pretty straightforward spot to find if you are familiar with this part of town. We spend a lot of our day in the clinic chairs or sitting at the small desk near the entrance. The street outside, Thatta Road, can get quite busy during the middle of the day with people going to and from the shops. Adoor is a nice place to work because you get to see a lot of the same faces every week. The clinic itself has white walls and we have some old magazines on the table for people to look at while they wait. We have the usual dental tools and the smell of the cleaning supplies is something you get used to after a while. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit but we have a backup to keep the lights on so we can keep working on teeth. The windows look out toward the road and you can see the local buses passing by every ten minutes or so. We keep a small kettle in the back for making tea when there is a break between patients. It is not a huge operation, just a couple of us here making sure the clinic stays running and the neighbors have a place to go when they have a toothache. We try to keep things simple and just do the job as best as we can every day.
