We run Lp Data House Private Limited out of a house in Maniyar. It’s House Number 25/36, known as Pampanath Veedu, and we’re there care of Leelamma. Punalur is a quiet place to have an office, and we like that it’s not in the middle of a big city with all that noise. The office is basically a couple of rooms in the house where we’ve set up our equipment and desks. It feels more like a home than a workplace, which keeps things relaxed most of the time. We don't wear suits or have formal meetings around a big table. Most of the time, we’re just chatting about what needs to be done while we drink tea in the kitchen. The surroundings are green and peaceful, which is a nice change from the usual office environment you see in movies. We’ve been here for some time now and the neighbors all know us and what we do. The work we do is mostly digital, so as long as we have a decent internet connection, we’re good to go. Sometimes the power goes out during a heavy storm, and we just have to wait it out until it comes back. It’s a simple way of working. We aren't a big corporation, just a small group of people doing data work in a house in Punalur. It’s a comfortable arrangement that lets us get our tasks finished without any stress.
