Our facility is tucked away in Nnc Estates, which is under the Vadakkevila P.O. area. If you know the neighborhood, it’s not too hard to find Beta Cashews & Allied Products Pvt. Ltd. We spend our days dealing with cashews and other related things. There’s always a specific smell of roasted nuts in the air around here. It’s a busy place, especially during the harvest season when the raw materials come in by the truckload. We have a lot of local workers from the surrounding villages who help with the processing and sorting. It is hard work, mostly standing on your feet, but everyone knows what they need to do. The warehouse is quite large to fit all the bags. We don't have fancy air conditioning in the main area, just high ceilings and some vents. It gets quite loud when the grading machines are running. We’ve been part of the Vadakkevila community for a long time now. Most of us grew up around here. We aren't interested in being a giant corporation. We just want to process good quality nuts and keep the business running steady. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the generator, which is a bit of a pain. But we make it work. It’s a humble business and we just take things one day at a time. We focus on the nuts and let everything else take care of itself.
