We are based at 44/G, Kolu Para Lane, right in the heart of Dhakuria. If you are coming by the lane, it’s a bit narrow, so watch out for the cycles and the rickshaws passing through. Zoom Group Of Industries sounds like it might be a huge factory, but we are just a practical operation working from this corner of Kolkata. We have been in this spot for a long time. The office is tucked away, so it’s fairly peaceful once you step inside. We deal with various industrial bits and pieces, mostly coordinating between different sites and suppliers. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking handwritten ledgers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We are more focused on getting the orders out and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. In the afternoons, you can hear the local market noise drifting in if the windows are open. We like it here because it feels real. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture or expensive rugs. We just have what we need to get through the day's work. It’s a steady pace, and we like the people who live and work around here. Most days are busy, but we always find time for a quick chat and a cup of tea.
