Academy Of Engineering & Management

Our academy is located at 51/2/5/1, P.C. Das Road in Kadamtala, over in the Ichapur area of Howrah. It’s a bit of a journey if you’re coming from the main part of Kolkata, but we like it here. Howrah has its own rhythm, and P.C. Das Road is right in the middle of it. The building is a simple structure, nothing too modern, which fits the neighborhood perfectly. We teach engineering and management stuff, so there are always students coming and going throughout the day. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches and whiteboards that have seen a lot of use over the years. We have a small office area where we handle the admissions and the general management tasks that keep the place running. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we’re always cleaning the windows and desks. We don’t have a fancy canteen, but there are plenty of small eateries nearby where the students and staff grab lunch and talk about their classes. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we aren't big on formalities here. It’s about getting the teaching done and helping the students understand the material properly. Sometimes the overhead fans make a lot of noise, but nobody really minds. It’s just how things are in an old school building. We’ve been a part of the Ichapur community for a while now and we know most of the families around here.
