Webtech (Multimedia Centre), Kolkata

Webtech (Multimedia Centre) is right over on Garia Station Road in Kolkata. We are in the C-50 building in the Chalantaika area. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and people rushing to catch their trains. It’s a good spot for a multimedia centre because everyone knows where Garia is. The office isn't anything too special, just a place with computers and some gear where we get our work done. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out technical stuff. Some of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, though the road gets crowded in the evenings. It’s a bit of a walk from the main crossing but not too far. We’ve been here at this 700084 address for some time now. Usually, the office is a bit messy with cables and papers scattered around, which is just how we work best. It’s a local operation, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We just focus on the multimedia projects that come in and try to stay on top of the schedule. If someone knocks on the door, they usually find us busy with some edit or a piece of design work. It’s just how things go here. We don't have a receptionist, so we just answer the door ourselves when someone stops by. It can be a bit chaotic during the monsoon when the road floods a little, but we manage to keep things moving along regardless.
