Vnv Consulting is located at 13/5 K.B. Sarani in Dum Dum. If you know Kolkata, you know Dum Dum is always buzzing with activity because of the airport and the metro station. Our office is right in the middle of all that noise. It is a modest space on a very busy street. You can hear the horns honking and the buses going by all day long, which you just get used to after a week. We do a lot of consulting work, which basically means we spend our time talking to people and trying to solve their business problems. It involves a lot of phone calls and sitting in front of computer screens. The office is a bit cramped, especially when we have a few people visiting us at once for a meeting. We have some old chairs and a wall clock that is always a few minutes fast, but nobody bothers to fix it. We do not really care about being fancy or looking like a big firm. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Sometimes it gets really humid in the monsoon, and the air conditioner struggles to keep up, but we just keep working. Our team is small, and we mostly just talk to each other across the room instead of sending emails. It is a practical place for people who need real help with their matters.
