Vision Plus

Vision Plus is our local shop located in School Para, Kolkata. We are right there in West Bengal, 700 059, and the neighborhood is always humming with activity. Since we are in School Para, there are always kids and parents walking past, especially in the mornings and mid-afternoons. Our shop isn't one of those big, shiny places you see in the shopping malls. It’s a bit more down-to-earth than that. We have our frames on display on some wooden shelves we put up ourselves, and the floor sometimes creaks when you walk over to the back where we do the testing. We deal with glasses and eye care, but we don't try to make it sound like some high-tech laboratory. It’s just a place to get your eyes checked and find a pair of frames that don't cost a fortune. The lighting in the shop is a little dim in the corners, but we have good lamps where it matters. Sometimes we run out of the most popular styles and have to tell people to wait a few days, which is just how it goes when you’re a small business. We know most of the people who come in because they live just down the street. We spend time chatting about the weather or the traffic on the way to the city center. It’s a simple life here in Kolkata. We just open the shutters, sweep the front step, and wait for the first customer of the day.
