Vercon

We are over here at Vercon, located at Flat 9D in Block B of the Karaya Police Quarters. It’s right on Karaya Road in Kolkata. Usually, people find us by looking for the police quarters because it’s a big landmark in this 700019 area. We’ve been operating from this flat for a while now. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the paperwork and computers, but we make it work. The neighborhood is pretty busy, like most parts of Kolkata, so there is always some noise from the street below. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just us in an apartment doing our daily tasks. Most mornings start with tea and checking what needs to be done for the day. Being in a residential block means we know our neighbors and the security guards quite well. It feels more like a home than a stiff office building. Sometimes the lift is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s a simple setup really. We just come in, do the work that needs to be finished, and head home. We don’t really go in for those big corporate meetings. We just talk across the desks if something needs fixing. It’s practical for what we do. If you are coming by, just tell the gate you’re looking for Block B. We’re usually here until the evening when the traffic on Karaya Road starts getting heavy.
