Utkarsh Horticulture Llp

Our workspace at Utkarsh Horticulture Llp is at 156A Lenin Sarani, right in office number 203A. Lenin Sarani is a busy street in the 700013 part of Kolkata, so there is never a dull moment outside our windows. We focus on horticulture, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about plants, soil, and how to keep things growing well. The office isn't particularly large, but we’ve managed to fit in all our files and a couple of computers. It’s a bit of a walk up to the second floor, but we don't mind the exercise. Usually, there’s a lot of conversation going on about different plant varieties or shipping schedules. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually lets people in. It’s an informal atmosphere where we wear comfortable clothes and drink a lot of coffee. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporate entity; we are just people who like plants and want to make a living doing what we know. Sometimes we have samples of pots or soil additives sitting in the corner, which makes the place look a bit like a warehouse, but it’s our space. We’ve been here for some time now and have grown quite used to the noise of the trams and buses passing by every few minutes.
