You can find our office at 54, Strand Road. We are directly opposite Mayu Hospital. It is a very busy part of the city and the traffic on the road can be a bit much sometimes. Monsanto India has been based in this building for a long time. Because of the hospital across the way, there are always people moving about and plenty of noise. We mostly work with agricultural products like seeds. The office itself is an old space with high ceilings that help keep it a bit cooler when the sun is out. A lot of our day is spent talking to farmers who come into the city from the surrounding rural areas. It gets quite hectic when the planting season starts up. Everyone is in a hurry to get what they need for their fields. We try to stay organized, but with all the paperwork and deliveries, it can get a little messy. The delivery trucks often have a hard time finding a place to pull over because the street is so narrow and crowded. We’ve just learned to work around those things over the years. We know the people at the nearby tea stalls and the other local shops. It’s a lively place to be. We just keep our doors open and do the work that needs doing. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things here on Strand Road.
