Unique Security Organisation

Our office is tucked away in a flat on the first floor of Ab Abasan in Talbagan. It is out in the North 24 Parganas district, near the N C Pukur post office. If you come looking for us, you will see it is a residential block, specifically Block A, Flat 6(5). Security work mostly involves managing people and complicated schedules, so there are always staff members coming in to pick up uniforms or check their duty rosters. The phones ring quite a bit here, and we spend a lot of time talking to our guards to make sure everyone is where they should be. It is not a flashy job, but it is what we do every day. The rooms are filled with basic desks and some old filing cabinets for the records. Sometimes the hallway gets a little crowded when a new group of people comes in for training or to apply for work. We keep the windows open to let in some air, even though the noise from the Talbagan streets comes in too. Dealing with security matters means being ready for anything, so things can get a bit hectic at times. We just handle the situations as they come. It is a local operation run by people who live around here. We do not have a big lobby or a fancy receptionist. Usually, whoever is sitting closest to the door just answers it.
