Travel Media Networks

Travel Media Networks is tucked away on 31 Charu Avenue, which is a nice enough part of Kolkata 700 033. We spend a lot of time talking about places we aren't currently at, which is the funny part about working in travel media. The office is usually full of maps, old brochures, and people typing away on laptops. It’s not a massive operation, just a few of us who really like the industry. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to take a break, which usually means a walk down the street to clear our heads. We aren't some giant corporation with fancy suits. Most of us just wear what's comfortable and focus on the stories we're trying to put together. The building on Charu Avenue has been around for a long time, and it has that specific old Kolkata feel to it. We get quite a few phone calls every day from people looking for advice or wanting to collaborate on something new. We try to get back to everyone, but sometimes things get lost in the shuffle. It's a busy life, but it beats sitting in a sterile cubicle in a high-rise. We like being part of the local scene here. People drop in occasionally just to say hello or ask for directions. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We just keep doing our thing, writing and planning, and hoping the next trip we write about is as good as the last.
