Tag Computers

We set up Tag Computers a while back at 30A Nirmal Chandra Street. If you’ve ever walked around Chandni Chawk or the Bowbazar area, you know how hectic it gets with all the shops and people looking for electronics. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. We deal with all sorts of computer issues, from old desktops that won't turn on to laptops that need a bit of extra memory. It’s a small space, and usually, there are parts and wires all over the workbench. It’s not one of those shiny showrooms you see in the malls. We prefer it this way. People come in, tell us what’s wrong with their machine, and we see what we can do to fix it. Sometimes we have used parts, sometimes new ones, it just depends on what’s available in the market that day. My cousins and I run the place, so it’s a bit of a family thing. We’ve seen the technology change so much over the years, from those big box monitors to the slim screens everyone has now. Living and working around Bowbazar means you meet all kinds of people every day. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning out a dusty fan or trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't behaving. We don't have any fancy slogans, just the shop on Nirmal Chandra Street.
