T. K. Enterprise

Our office is at 39 Strand Road, right in the middle of the Barabazar area. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how packed and loud it gets. There are people everywhere, handcarts moving through the narrow lanes, and the constant sound of shouting and horns. We’ve been operating out of this old building for a long time. The stairs are a bit steep and the rooms are filled with stacks of papers and samples, but it’s home to us. T. K. Enterprise isn't a huge corporation; we're just a small team trying to get through the day’s orders. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the suppliers who come by. Because we are near the river, it gets quite humid, and the old ceiling fans just move the warm air around. We don't have any polished mission statements or fancy goals written on the walls. We just want to make sure the boxes go out on time and the accounts are settled at the end of the month. Sometimes we have our lunch right at the desk because it’s too busy to go out. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the walls of these old buildings. You have to be quick on your feet to get around here without bumping into someone.
