Our office is right here in Bowbazar on B B Ganguly Street. It is on the first floor of the Punarnava building, room 104. Being near the Lal Bazar Police Headquarters makes it easy to find, though the street is always packed with people and cars. We handle the Syngenta India Ltd business from this spot. It is a busy part of the city. We have desks, some filing cabinets, and the usual office noise. Most of the work involves seeds and crop stuff for farmers. It is not a farm here, obviously, just the place where the paperwork and planning happen. The building is older, which is typical for this part of town. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs. We deal with a lot of phone calls and emails throughout the day. People come in and out for meetings. We have been in this Bowbazar location for some time now. It is a practical space. We do not have fancy decorations on the walls. It is just about getting the work done. The area has a lot of history, and we are right in the middle of it. We keep track of supplies and talk to distributors from this room. It is a lot of coordination. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good for the summer heat. We just stay focused on the agricultural side of things and keep moving.
