We are situated at 3/1, Dr Suresh Sarkar Road in Kolkata. This is one of those older neighborhoods where the streets are narrow and everything feels very lived-in. Our office at Sur Electrical Company is not a modern glass building. It is an old-fashioned space with high ceilings and heavy wooden desks. We deal with electrical parts, wiring, and various types of equipment. The rooms are usually filled with the smell of old paper and electrical components. We have shelves full of switches, cables, and motors. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. Most of our staff have been with us for many years, so we operate like a small family. We do not do much in the way of marketing or fancy brochures. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with other local companies and contractors. Kolkata can be a difficult place to navigate with deliveries, but we have been doing it long enough to know the shortcuts. During the monsoon, we sometimes have to deal with water getting into the lower areas of the street, which makes things a bit messy. We just keep working through it. Our focus is on the practical side of electrical work. We make sure we have the right stock and that our customers get what they came for without any unnecessary talk or complications.
