Out here in Hooghly, specifically around Arambagh Parulmore, is where you’ll find Sunce Solar Power Pvt. Ltd. We set up shop here because there’s plenty of sun and people needed a better way to get electricity. The building isn't anything fancy, just a functional space where we keep our panels and batteries. Most of our days are spent traveling to different farms or houses in the area. We load up the truck in the morning and head out. It’s dusty work and we spend a lot of time on ladders. Back at the office in Parulmore, there’s usually someone doing the books or answering the phone. It’s a local operation. We know the families around here and we know which roofs are starting to sag. We don't use big words to explain how the sun makes power. We just show people the meters and how the battery fills up. Sometimes the rain stops us from working, and we just sit in the shop and wait it out. It’s a slow pace compared to the city, but we like it that way. We’ve had some tough times getting parts delivered out here, but we always manage to find a way. It’s just us, a few tools, and a lot of solar panels trying to make things a bit easier for the folks in Hooghly. We keep it simple and try to be helpful when people stop by with questions.
