Subrata Saha

Subrata Saha’s office is located at 101-A on Raja Dinendra Street in Kolkata. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know it’s got that old-school West Bengal feel to it. The street is always busy with people and rickshaws going past, and it can get pretty loud during the day. Our space isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We have some wooden furniture that’s been here since we started, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We spend most of our hours here dealing with whatever comes across our desks. There’s a lot of paper around, and sometimes it feels like we are buried in it. Kolkata weather is usually hot, so we keep the windows open, though that means we hear everything from the street. It’s just a normal workplace where things get done without much fuss. We don’t have any fancy signs outside, just the address on the door. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for 101-A specifically. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know all the local shopkeepers nearby. We usually get our lunch from one of the small places down the road. It’s a simple life and a simple office, but it’s where we are every single day. We don't really change much around here as the years go by.
