We’ve been at this address for quite some time, and the building has that old Kolkata feel to it. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of history and a lot of noise from the street. Inside our office, it’s a bit quieter, though you can still hear the city moving outside. We handle a lot of accounting work here, so there are always stacks of paper and folders sitting around on the desks. It isn't a very modern-looking place, but it is functional and it’s where we feel comfortable. The humidity in Kolkata can be tough in the summers, so we rely heavily on our old ceiling fans to keep the air moving while we work. Most of us have been working together at 35A for years, so we have a good rhythm going. We don't bother with fancy receptionists or big waiting rooms. People just come in, sit down, and we talk about what needs to be done. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. Being part of the 700012 community is important to us, and we like the local feel of the lane. We’ll probably be here for many more years to come.
