A.N.Hussunally & Company is located at 28, Strand Road in the Bbd Bagh area. This part of the city is very old and always feels a bit chaotic with the noise and the crowds. We have been in this same building for a very long time, and the place is absolutely packed with hardware and tools. We have items stacked from the floor all the way up to the high ceilings. If you are looking for something specific, you usually have to ask because it’s hidden behind something else. My family has been running this business for generations. We still use the old wooden counters that have been here since the beginning. It gets very stuffy in here during the summer months, and the noise from Strand Road never really stops. We get all kinds of people coming through the door, from professionals to people just looking for a simple tool for their home. We don't have a website or any kind of online store. Most of our business is done face to face over the counter. Sometimes we spend a long time searching in the back rooms for a part that someone requested. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we generally know where the important stuff is kept. We don't do any promotional events or advertising. We just open up the doors every morning and wait to see who comes in. It’s a traditional way of doing things that hasn't changed much.
