Subhankar Ghosh

I am based out of 1/1D, Ratan Babu Road. This part of North Kolkata has a lot of history and you can see it in the old buildings and the narrow streets. Subhankar Ghosh is the name on the door. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't from the area, but the locals know Ratan Babu Road well. My space is small and filled with a lot of stuff I have gathered over the years. It is not very organized, to be honest. I have piles of papers and things tucked away in corners. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but I never seem to get around to it. The pin code here is 700002, which is right up there in the old city. You get the smell of the river sometimes when the wind is right. I spend many hours here just going through my daily tasks. It is a quiet life for the most part. I don't have any staff or big teams. It is just me handles the work that comes in. People find me through word of mouth mostly. They walk down the lane, find 1/1D, and knock. I usually have the radio on in the background. It keeps me company while I work. Life in West Bengal moves at its own pace and I am happy to move along with it right here. It is just how things are for me and I don't plan on changing it.
