Located at 95 Arobinda Sarani in the Hatibagan area of Kolkata, 101 Websitesitedesign Lnc is a small operation. We share the space with Sova Rani Kundu, and it is a typical old Kolkata building with high ceilings and walls that have seen better days. Inside, the hum of computer fans is the main sound you hear, mixed with the shouting of vendors from the street outside. It gets pretty humid here, especially in the afternoons, so we have a few fans going at full speed. The desks are crowded with monitors and keyboards, and there are always empty chai cups sitting around somewhere. We spend our days staring at code and trying to make things look right on a screen. It isn't a fancy tech hub like you see in the movies. It is just a few of us working on websites for people who need them. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power flickers, and we just wait it out. Hatibagan is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of all that noise and energy. We don’t have a big reception area or a sign that lights up. Most people just find us because they know the address or they've heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and get the work done, one page at a time, until it’s time to head home through the crowded streets.
