Standard Chartered

Our location for Standard Chartered is at Ak-187, Sector-2, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Salt Lake is laid out in a very specific way, and being in Sector-2 means we are in a relatively planned part of the city. AK-187 is a standalone building, not a huge office tower. It feels more like a house that’s been converted, which is common in this part of town. The streets around here are lined with trees, so it’s actually quite a nice walk from the main road if the weather isn't too hot. We have our workspace inside with the usual desks and cabinets. It’s a bit of a quiet office, mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We have a small area in the back where we can sit and eat our lunch. The internet can be a bit moody sometimes, but we’ve mostly got it figured out. Most of the people working here live nearby or take the bus to the local stand. We’ve got a routine that works for us. Sector-2 is a good place to be because it’s not as chaotic as the center of Kolkata, but you can still find everything you need within a short walk. The office isn't decorated with anything flashy, just some basic furniture and the stuff we need to stay organized. It’s a steady, reliable place where we come to do our daily tasks and then head back out into the Salt Lake traffic.
