Space Matrix Design Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 3K, Picnic Garden, 3Rd Lane, 1St Floor in Kolkata. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The neighborhood is usually quite lively, especially during the mornings when everyone is heading out. Our office isn't anything too flashy. You have to walk up to the first floor to find us. It’s a regular workspace with desks, some old files, and a lot of drawings spread out most days. Being in Picnic Garden means we get a lot of local noise, but it’s home for the business. We spend our hours here looking at designs and talking through different projects. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes because there is always something going on. Someone is usually on the phone or sketching something out on a piece of paper. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing very well. It’s more about just getting the work done and making sure the plans make sense. Kolkata weather can be a bit much, so the fans are almost always running. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few of us hunched over computers or arguing about where a wall should go. We just try to stay focused on what’s in front of us. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve grown used to the 3rd Lane traffic and the way the light hits the office in the afternoon. That's just how it is here.
