Inbuilt Designers

We’ve been here in the Girish Park area for a while now. Inbuilt Designers is just a small group of us who enjoy putting things together and figuring out how a room should look. It’s not a fancy setup, really. Most days you’ll find us at the desk or out at a site somewhere nearby. We started because we liked the work, and staying in this part of town felt right. People walk in, ask a few questions, and we see if we can help them out. It’s a lot of sketching and measuring. Sometimes things get a bit messy with all the samples laying around. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us working through projects one by one. Girish Park has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it. We deal with the usual stuff like delays or materials not showing up on time, but we get through it. It isn't always perfect, but we put in the hours. If you're walking past, you might see us drinking tea and looking at floor plans. That’s pretty much how it goes here. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just do the design work that needs doing. It’s been a long journey from when we first opened the doors, but the neighborhood keeps us busy enough.
