Being up on the 8th floor of the Chitrakoot Building gives us a decent view of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road even if the windows are a bit dusty most of the time. We are tucked away in Room 86 and the hallway can be a bit dark sometimes when the lights are flickering. This office is where we handle the details for the airline in this part of town. It is mostly about managing bookings and answering questions from people who call in or walk through the door. The elevator in this building has seen better days and sometimes you have to wait a while during the lunch rush when everyone is coming and going. We have a couple of old maps on the wall and some stacks of manuals that have been there since the office first opened up. It is not the most modern space but it is functional for what we do every day. Working in the Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani area means there is always a lot of noise from the street below but we barely hear the horns anymore after being here so long. We keep things pretty simple here without any big corporate decorations or fancy reception desks. It is just a place where the work gets done and we try to keep the flight schedules straight on our monitors. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much when the AC is acting up but we manage with a few table fans and some cold water. We have our routine and it keeps the office running fairly smoothly.
