You can find us at 122 on the ground floor of Mahatma Gandhi Road right in the heart of Burrabazar. This area is incredibly crowded every single day with handcarts and people carrying massive bundles on their heads through the narrow lanes. Our office is right there in the middle of all that chaos which is actually pretty helpful for moving cargo quickly. We deal with a lot of local goods and shipments that come through the market from all over the country. The office itself is quite small and the walls are lined with old ledgers and files from years of work we have done. Since we are on the ground floor people are always popping their heads in to ask questions or check on their deliveries without even coming inside. It’s a very old-school way of working where we still write a lot of things down by hand in big registers. There isn't much room for fancy stuff so we just have the essentials like a few desks and a computer that has definitely seen better days. The noise from MG Road is constant but it’s the heartbeat of the business for us and we don't mind it much. We’ve been part of the Burrabazar community for a long time and we understand how the lanes and the traffic work here better than most. It is a tough environment but we just get on with the job of moving carriers from one point to another without making a big deal about it.
