Solitare Events & Tms is located right on B.B.Chatterjee Road in Kolkata. It’s a busy area, 700042, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been at 155A for some time, and the space is mostly filled with leftover decorations, stacks of papers, and old event schedules. It’s not the most organized place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is, mostly. Running an event business in a city like Kolkata means you’re always dealing with the unexpected, whether it’s the weather or a delivery truck getting stuck in traffic. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything. It's just a functional office where we sit and make calls or try to fix problems that pop up at the last minute. The staff here are mostly locals who know the shortcuts around the neighborhood. We drink a lot of tea while we’re working out the details for whatever project is next on the list. Sometimes the days get pretty long, especially when there’s a big deadline coming up, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We don't spend much time on fancy speeches; we just try to get the logistics sorted so things don’t fall apart. It’s a bit of a squeeze in this office sometimes when everyone is in at once, but we make do with the desks we have. It’s just how we operate here on B.B.Chatterjee Road.
