Solace Renewable Energy is located at 20 Kankulia Road. It’s a pretty standard street, nothing too flashy about it. We have a small office here where we handle everything related to our renewable energy projects. Kankulia Road can be quite narrow, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare, but we make it work. The office itself is cozy, maybe even a little crowded when we have all our field staff in at the same time for meetings. We have stacks of solar controllers and wiring diagrams sitting on almost every flat surface available. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites, so the office is mainly a home base for the paperwork and planning side of things. There’s a tea shop just down the road that we visit way too often. It’s a local business through and through. We aren't some giant firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a dedicated team trying to get more people to use clean energy. The building is old and has its quirks, like a door that sticks in the rainy season, but it has character. We like being on Kankulia Road because it feels like part of the neighborhood. It’s not a corporate park, it’s just where we do our work every day. We’ve been here for years and know the area well.
