You can find Sika India Pvt Ltd over at 13 Bhattacharya Para Road in Kolkata. We are currently sharing space c/o Jharna Mittra. This part of West Bengal has a very specific feel to it. It’s a residential area mostly, so our office fits in quietly among the houses. We don’t have a big corporate banner hanging outside. It’s just a house where we’ve set up our workspace to handle the daily operations. The 700063 area is where we’ve settled, and it’s a good spot for us. The pace of work here is steady but not overwhelming. We start the day by opening the windows to let some air in, and then we get to the paperwork. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology or modern furniture. It’s just functional stuff that helps us get through the day. Sometimes we sit outside for a few minutes if the weather is nice. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our bit and keep our customers happy without any drama. Being in a place like Bhattacharya Para Road means we see our neighbors every day and we’ve become part of the local scene. We don't write big mission statements or have long meetings about the future. We just focus on what needs to be done right now. It’s a simple, honest way to work, and we’re quite content with that.
