Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd.

I work at the office for Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. over on Barakhamba Road. We are on the 7th floor of the South Block in Park Plaza. It’s room number 71 in the building called Indra Prakash at 21 Barakhamba Road. From the window, you can see the traffic down below on Barakhamba. It never seems to stop. My day is mostly spent at the desk dealing with paperwork and phone calls. We have several rooms here for the different departments. It’s not a factory, just the administrative side of things. The elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their floor. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The air conditioning is usually running high because it gets stuffy with so many computers. There’s a tea stall around the corner where most of us go during the break. It’s a professional enough environment but we keep it casual among ourselves. We don't use much jargon. Just managing the logistics and the accounts for the business. Sometimes the meetings go on a bit too long. We have a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle for coffee and tea. It’s a standard office life. We’re right in the middle of everything here. Most people find us easily because of the landmark. We just keep the gears turning from the seventh floor every single day. It's nothing special, just office work.
