Up on the 111th unit of Haute Street Corporate Park, you’ll find our office. It’s right above that Mahindra car showroom on Topsia Road South. It’s a fairly modern building compared to some of the older spots in Kolkata. Getting here can be a bit of a task depending on the traffic around Topsia, which as many people know, is usually pretty heavy. We’ve been set up here for a bit now, focusing on the speciality chemical side of things. The view from the windows isn't anything special, just the busy road and the city moving along, but it’s a good location for a business. We have a mix of people working here, some who have been with the company for a long time and some newer faces. It’s a professional environment but we keep it pretty relaxed among ourselves. We don't bother with much of the corporate talk you hear in some of the bigger firms nearby. We just focus on getting the shipments sorted and making sure the clients get what they need. Lunchtime usually involves someone going out to grab snacks from the local vendors nearby. The office gets a lot of light during the day, which is nice, but when it rains, you can really hear the city hum. We’ve grown into the space over the years and it feels like home now. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of things every day.
