Starting at 6 Sarkar Bagan in Talpukur, things usually get going early. We are tucked away here in the 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been here a while now. Sika India Pvt Limited isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything. It’s just a regular office where we handle our daily work. Some days are quieter than others. You might see the local tea stall nearby getting crowded in the afternoon. We mostly just stick to our tasks and make sure everything is sorted by the end of the day. The building is easy to find if you know the landmark, though sometimes the mail gets a bit mixed up because of how the streets are laid out. Working in West Bengal means dealing with the humidity and the rain, but that's just part of the life here. We don’t really do big speeches or formal meetings every five minutes. It’s more about just getting the job done and going home to our families. People around here know us as the place down the road from the post office. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, more shops opening up and more traffic on the main road. It’s a bit dusty sometimes when the wind picks up, but it’s home for us. We just keep things moving, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. That's pretty much who we are.
