Shree Ambe Hardware

Shree Ambe Hardware is situated at 156A Lenin Sarani, right inside the Kamlalaya Center. We are at Shop No. G-11 on the ground floor. It’s a busy building with a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. Being on the ground floor is lucky because it means we don't have to carry heavy boxes of tools and metal fittings up any stairs or into a lift. The shop is pretty packed with everything from screws to power tools and plumbing supplies. There isn't much space to walk around once you get inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible on the shelves. Lenin Sarani is a hectic street, and there’s always someone looking for a specific bolt or a particular brand of hammer. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the other shopkeepers in the center. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a large delivery, and we have to move things around to make room. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights; things are just organized in a way that we can find them quickly for the customers. It’s mostly just us serving people over the counter all day long. The lights in the center are sometimes a bit dim, but we have our own lamps to see the small parts clearly. It’s honest, simple retail work. We don't do much marketing; people just know we’re here in G-11 when they need hardware.
