You can find Shalini Media Consultant at 9, Indian Mirror Street. We are tucked right behind the Times of India building in Kolkata 700013. Being so close to a big newspaper building is handy for what we do. The street is narrow and always seems to have people moving around. Our office is small and a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden shelves filled with old files and a couple of desks that have seen better days. It's just a small team of us working here. We consult on media things, which involves a lot of meetings and phone calls to different agencies. We don't have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss us if they aren't looking closely. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it. We keep busy enough that we don't notice the scuffs on the floor. There’s a tea shop just around the corner that makes the best ginger tea, and that’s where we get our morning start. It’s a very local feel here. We know the neighbors and the guy who delivers the mail. We aren't some big corporate firm with glass walls. We are just a few people in a small room on Indian Mirror Street trying to keep up with the media world. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but we manage to stay on top of the pile.
