Saraf Resin & Chemicals Pvt Ltd is up on the 5th floor of 12A, Room No 20 on Netaji Subhas Road. If you’ve walked down Netaji Subhas Road, you know how old and busy the buildings are. It’s a classic Kolkata commercial area. Our office is tucked away in one of those big buildings with the old elevators and high ceilings. We deal with resins and various chemical products from here. It’s mostly office work, handling the orders and talking to suppliers. The room is a bit small once you get all the files and samples in there, but it serves us well enough. Being in the heart of the city means we are close to everything, even if the noise from the street never really stops. The tea shops downstairs are always crowded with people from the other offices in the building. It’s a very social place if you have the time to stop and talk. We usually just grab a quick cup and get back to the resins. We don’t really do fancy presentations or have a glossy reception area. It’s just a place where we sit down and get through the day’s tasks. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and it takes a while to sort through it all. We’ve been around this area for a long time. It has a specific feel to it that you don’t find in the newer parts of town. We just keep doing what we do.
