Our small office is located at 47B.C Road in Behala. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know how crowded the streets get with all the rickshaws and people heading to the market. We’ve been operating out of here for a bit, mostly helping folks figure out their next job or career step. The walls are a bit plain, and we have files stacked up on the desks because there’s always someone new walking in. It’s not a big corporate setup with glass walls; it’s more like a place where you sit on a plastic chair and talk about what kind of work you’re looking for. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking through resumes, trying to match people with whatever is available. The ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a local operation, and most of the people who come to us are from the neighborhood or nearby areas. Sometimes the rain floods the street outside, and we have to jump over puddles to get inside the building, but the work goes on. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just sit here on B.C Road and do our best to keep things moving for the candidates who rely on us. It’s often busy and a bit messy, but that’s just how we work every day.
