S. N. Infotech

Our office is on the fourth floor on Naba Mahajati Road. If you know Dum Dum, you know it can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up. S. N. Infotech is tucked away here in Kolkata. It’s a busy street below, but up on the fourth floor, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve got a few rooms where we keep all the equipment. It’s not a very big place, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and trying to figure out technical stuff. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some old notes. The tea man comes around in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just fix things or set them up for people who ask us to. The commute can be a bit of a pain because of the traffic near the station, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been in this building for quite some time, so we know the other people on the different floors. It’s a bit like a small community. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Nothing too complicated about it. The windows give us a decent view of the rooftops in Dum Dum, which is nice when you need a break from the computer. It's just a regular local business run by local people.
