Routemakers is based in Lake Gardens, specifically at the D-22 Cmda Housing Project. It’s a residential part of Kolkata, so it’s quite green and mostly calm. Our office is inside the housing project area, which makes it feel a bit different from a standard office building. We like it because it’s not right on the noisy main road. You can actually hear the birds sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit, handling the logistics and routes. It’s a small team usually. The walk from the Lake Gardens station isn't too bad if the weather is nice. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist at a marble desk. You just walk in and see us working. We drink a lot of chai from the place around the corner. The West Bengal 700 033 area is a nice spot for a business like ours. It’s central enough but still has that old Kolkata charm. We spend most of our time looking at maps or talking to drivers. Things can get a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we manage. The building itself is older, but it serves us well. We don’t go for the polished corporate look. We just want to make sure the routes are planned properly. It’s a straightforward operation. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s just a regular workday for us in a quiet corner of the city.
