Rjh Consultants is based at 42, Biren Roy Road, East, in Kolkata. Our office is right there in the 700008 zip code area. It’s a busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside our door. We do consulting work here, mostly just helping out people who come in with questions about their business or paperwork. It is a small team of us sitting in a room that gets quite warm in the summer months. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of files stacked up in the corner because we haven't gotten around to a better filing system yet. Kolkata is a place where you talk a lot to get things moving, so that is mostly what we do. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s not a polished environment where everyone wears suits. Usually, we are just in plain shirts trying to get through the day's list. Biren Roy Road is a good spot for us because people can reach it easily from different parts of East Kolkata. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people just hear about us from a friend or someone they know in the neighborhood. It is a straightforward operation without any hidden layers. We just open up in the morning and see who needs help until it is time to head home in the evening. There is no corporate manual here, just us doing our jobs.
