We are located at Koh-I-Noor, 105 Park Street. If you know Kolkata, you know Park Street is always buzzing with people and cars. Our office isn't one of those new glass towers; it’s an older building with a lot of history. We’ve been operating from here for a long time. The rooms have high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that you don't see much anymore. Most of our day is spent dealing with orders and talking to our production units. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing, and other times it’s strangely quiet. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. There are stacks of ledgers and samples of chemicals in jars sitting on the shelves. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where everything is. Our lunch breaks are usually spent at the desks, unless someone brings in something special to share. The walk from the metro can be a bit of a sweat in the summer, but the location is convenient for most of us. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. We’re a smaller team that has worked together for years. We know each other’s families and how everyone takes their tea. It’s just a practical place where we come to get our work done. We don't have any grand slogans, just a lot of daily tasks that keep the business running.
