Rice Group

Rice Group is based at 692 Kailash Ghosh Road, which is in the Barisha Sakherbazar part of Kolkata. It’s a well-known area and the road can get quite tight with all the rickshaws and people walking to the market. We’ve been at this address for a while, and it feels like a solid part of the neighborhood. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just wooden desks, some old cupboards for files, and our computers. We deal with the daily operations from here, and there is usually someone around even if things look quiet from the outside. The pin code is 700008, which is a busy zone in the southern part of the city. We like the location because it’s easy for us to get to and there are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick snack or a tea. Work here is mostly about staying organized and making sure the paperwork for the group is handled correctly. It’s a bit of a traditional setup, not very flashy, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking amongst ourselves to get things sorted out. It’s just a group of people working together in a regular Kolkata building, trying to get through the daily pile of tasks without too much fuss. Even when it gets really hot in the summer, we just keep the fans going and carry on with whatever needs to be done that day.
