Ramkrishna Engineering Works

If you find yourself down Finch Road in Ramkrishnapally, you will probably hear us before you see us. We are Ramkrishna Engineering Works, located at 315/35A. This part of North 24 Parganas has a lot of small shops like ours. We do a lot of metal work and mechanical repairs. It is a small space, mostly filled with lathes, welding gear, and pieces of iron waiting to be worked on. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is just how an engineering shop is supposed to look. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big sales team. It is usually just a few of us here working on whatever jobs come in through the door. Some days it is small repairs for neighbors, and other days it is bigger parts for local factories. We have been in this spot for a good while. We know the people around here and they know they can just drop by. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of burnt metal and grease. It is not quiet, and it is definitely not clean, but we get the jobs done. We take our time to make sure the measurements are okay. Sometimes we stay late when a machine breaks down and someone needs it fixed by morning. That is just how life is on Finch Road for us. We keep the machines running and the work moving along.
