Rainbow Group Of Companies operates out of Bangihaty, near Mallickpara in Serampore. Being in the Hooghly district means we are a bit away from the main Kolkata hub, but it suits us fine. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s more of a practical base where the management happens. We deal with various business lines, so there is always something different to look at every morning. Some days it’s logistics, other days it’s checking on production or accounts. The office can get a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once. We like being in Serampore because it has its own history and a slower pace than the big city. Most of our workers are locals from the area. We don't spend much on advertising or trying to look bigger than we are. We just keep our heads down and manage the various parts of the business. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure everyone is on the same page. Sometimes it’s a bit of a puzzle to keep everything moving, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ropes.
