Rachana Kayan & Associates

Our office for Rachana Kayan & Associates is at 68 A, Beck Bagan Row. We are right across from the Mithai showroom, which is a big landmark in this neighborhood. If you like sweets, it can be a bit of a distraction because the smell of fresh food is always around. The street is usually full of people and cars going to the nearby shops. We have a modest space here with just a few rooms for our desks and all our filing cabinets. I have lived in Kolkata for most of my life and I have always liked this part of the city. The office isn't very fancy or modern. We still deal with a lot of physical paperwork and have stacks of folders on the tables. I think it makes the place feel more real and lived-in. We are just a small group of people who know each other well. We usually get to work around ten in the morning. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait for it to come back on and keep going. If you are looking for us, just find the Mithai shop and look to the other side of the road. We are right there and the door is usually open during business hours. It is just a regular place where we get our work done.
