We’ve been working out of Jaju Bhawan at 1A, D. L. Khan Road for quite some time now. Kolkata is a busy place, and our corner of it is no different. Punam Energy Pvt Ltd. is basically just a group of us who know our way around power systems and energy setups. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the practical side of things, like checking equipment or making sure a project is moving along as it should. It isn’t always glamorous work, and the office can get a bit cluttered with paperwork and parts, but it works for us. Most days start early with a cup of tea before we dive into the logs. The traffic on D. L. Khan Road can be a real headache in the afternoons, so we try to get our site visits done before the rush. We don’t have a massive team or a glossy reception area. It is just the office here and the guys out in the field doing what they do. We’ve had some long days when things don't go exactly to plan, but that is just how this line of work goes. People in the neighborhood know the building well enough. We just try to stay focused on the tasks in front of us and keep things simple. It’s a straightforward operation where we value showing up and putting in the hours. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping things running for our clients.
